Alan Fogarty is a Sustainability Partner in Cundall and heads up their specialist environmental building physics group. He is a chartered Building Services Engineer who has specialised in passive building design and low carbon systems.


He lead the implementation of the WELL Building Standard for Cundall’s London office fit out, the first certified WELL project in Europe. At Cundall he established a research group to test ideas such as the integration of plants in buildings, their Biophilic benefits including their ability to improve air quality to yield carbon reduction.

The former St Brendan’ Hospital site at Grangegorman in Dublin’s north inner city is being redeveloped as the new DIT campus for 20,000 students and 2,000 staff,  HSE health facilities, a primary school and community resources. Paul has been involved in all aspects of the project, from development of the master plan and its adoption by Dublin City Council as a Strategic Development Zone, (SDZ), to project financing and stakeholder management.

This has all been achieved working closely with the Grangegorman Development Agency GDA and the HSE. This project will be a major contributor to the regeneration of Dublin’s north inner city, supporting innovation, industry and community engagement.

Director, DJI Design & Construct


Michelle is a founder and past President of the Interiors Association and is an Interior Architect and Creative Director at DJI Design & Construct. She was the 2015 ‘Fit Out Designer of the Year’. She is the founder of INSIDE, a trade magazine for the Interiors industry in Ireland.


Michelle specialises in commercial retail interiors, fast track office Fit Out and bespoke residential projects.

Director of UK/EMEA Client Relations for the WELL Faculty at the IWBI (International Well Building Institute)

In her role as Director of UK/EMEA Client Relations for the WELL Faculty at the IWBI, Ann Marie provides strategic direction for the growth of the WELL Building Standard, supporting "Early Adopters", communicating client experience and supporting the alignment of country specific sustainability rating tools.  

She was the first WELL Accredited Professional (AP) from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) outside the U.S., and is a passionate advocate of regenerative sustainability and the impact of space design on human behaviour and performance.  

Ann Marie has 18 years of project management, marketing and sustainable design experience with Architects in the UK, USA, ME and other locations around the world. She has extensive experience in LEED/WELL Certifications, material deconstruction and material reuse processes. Her current project focus is on bringing health and wellbeing strategies to the forefront of integrated design – so that they are delivered as a seamless overarching framework.

Lead designer at MCA Architects Andrew has wide experience in commercial fit-outs in the key media and technology sector. MCA works with clients such as Facebook, UTV, Yahoo, IBM Accenture, Twitter and other large corporate multinationals.

Andrew Howley

Oliver is Founder of Heath Design Ltd, an architectural and interior design practice combining three key strands: sustainable design, consumer engagement and communications to inspire the uptake of future thinking in the built environment. He stimulates the adoption of happier, healthier places to live and work through his projects as designer, writer, and TV presenter.

Since 1998 he has presented on numerous television channels for shows such as BBC Changing Rooms and BBC DIY SOS, and Norway’s TV2 Tid For Hjim. He frequently acts as a media spokesperson for the UK’s Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), WRAP and the Energy Saving Trust.

Design clients include Unilever, Homebase, Bio Regional, ING Real Estate and Barratt Homes and the Geffrye Museum, as well as products for John Lewis, Pilkington Glass and Earthborn paints. 

Oliver is the author of 3 books, most recently Urban Eco Chic (Quadrille), selling over 30,000 copies in 6 languages, as well as writing regularly for the Guardian, Grand Designs magazine, and House Beautiful.

Oliver is a qualified Domestic Energy and Green Deal Assessor and is passionate about sustainable design. His human centred Biophilic Design approach seeks to reduce stress by strengthening the human connection with nature to improve health and well-being in the many spaces we live and work in. Oliver is currently a Biophilic Design ambassador for Interface flooring.

Carol has worked for over 20 years as a valuer and buyer in the field of Fine Art and Antiques. During this time, Carol, has witnessed huge changes in all areas of collecting, however none more so than in the corporate world.  The positive benefits of art in the workplace are now well documented and are top priority for companies embarking on an arts project.  Taking into account company and staff demographic, Carol advises clients on the installation of both traditional and video art with the aim of creating an inclusive, interesting and productive working environment.

Angela Connolly was elected President of the Interiors Association in 2014. The Interiors Association is Ireland’s leading professional organisation of accredited Interior Designers, Interior Architects and Trade Suppliers. Angela’s presidential role involves strategic business planning, marketing and communications, education and membership promotion.  

Angela established Conbu Interior Design in 2008 after qualifying, with distinction, in interior design from Dublin Institute of Design. Angela works in the high end residential sector as well as commercial market. Angela works closely with architects, developers and private clients. She has an extensive business background, is an experienced and qualified project manager and is a member of Dublin Decorative and Fine Arts Society (DDFAS).

Based in London, Ben is the architect who delivered Europe’s first WELL Building Standard Fit Out at One Carter Place, London, home to Cundall’s international headquarters.

Ben is co-founder of KWY a multidisciplinary platform investigating the nature of collaboration within the context of specific projects. Founded in 2009 with fellow architect Ricardo Gomes in Berlin, and curator and editor James Bae in Los Angeles, KWY’s projects are collaborations between the principals and invited specialists.

Ben previously worked as an architect with Studio Olafur Eliasson, Berlin.

Conor, a director at Henry J Lyons Architects where he leads their commercial fit-out section. He has been a leader in the development of workplace design and standards in the UK and abroad, and has carried out research on the subject in both the UK and USA. He has extensive experience leading major architectural and fit-out projects in Ireland and the UK for companies including Google, ebay and LinkedIn.

Conor MacCabe

CEO, Ayrton Group

Having originally worked in the Healthcare sector for eight years, Kieran established Ayrton Group (formerly Health & Safety Services) in 1993.

With an MSc from Loughborough University, Kieran first joined IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health )in 1995 as a Chartered Safety Practitioner, he went on to become a Chartered Fellow of IOSH in 2009. He has been a member of the National Executive of NISO, as well as founder member of the IOSH Committee. With his background in healthcare, as well as several years in the manufacturing and construction sectors, Kieran has a wealth of knowledge regarding Project Management and what is takes to design buildings with the wellness of the employees, occupiers and users placed at the highest level of importance.

Ayrton Group is engaged in some of the largest profile PSDP (Project Supervisor for the Design Process) projects in Ireland, affording Kieran the opportunity to engage with the latest developments in ergonomics and best preventative approaches.

With 20 year’s experience in the lighting industry, Rocky is design team leader at Wink. He has worked in both the theatre and rock and roll industries during his career, but he now his focuses on growing Wink - a company that enhances space with light.

With almost 20 years experience on large scale projects in Ireland and abroad, Andreas established his own practice ‘[innen] interior architecture’ in 2010. He also lectures on the four-year degree course in Interior Architecture at Dublin’s Griffith College. Andreas won ‘Fit-Out Designer of the Year 2016’ amongst many other awards through the years. He is an expert in hospitality and workplace design.

Creative Director with 30 years international experience, specialising in Strategic Workplace Consultancy and Design. Justin has Degrees in Architecture and Interior Design and has had a progressive career with extensive experience in strategic real estate portfolio advice and designing and delivering workplace projects for blue chip clients in the UK, MENA, US, Australia and mainland Europe.

Justin heads up RKD Interiors and together with his team are scheduled to deliver nearly 1,000,000sqft of Workplace Projects in 2017 including EMEA HQ Buildings for Microsoft and LinkedIn.
