As re-purposing makes way for new build, the forthcoming ‘Fit Out Conference’ to take place at the Marker Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday, July 21 will address how this development, together with other emerging trends, will impact on Ireland’s Fit-Out sector.Google has set the trend for workplaces that feel more like a second home, with areas to relax and features like secret gardens and living walls. Chaired by Andrew McCracken, director, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), speakers will include Niall Gaffney – chief executive of Iput, the largest unlisted property vehicle in Ireland – who will address how fit-out specialists can add value to property plays; Conor McCabe, director with Henry J Lyons Architects, who will take a view on emerging and future fit-out trends here in Ireland, examining in particular the influences of Dublin’s growing international client base.
Other notable speakers include Hugh Wallace, chief executive of Douglas Wallace; Hannah Dwyer, head of research for Jones Lang LaSalle; Derek Hayden, operations director at Ethos Engineering; Ronan Higham, contracts director of Pure Fit Out, an associate of Press Up Entertainment Group, and Keith Somers, head of design with Staycity. The Fit Out Conference has also assembled an impressive group of experts to discuss the hot topics affecting the sector.
This half-day conference will pack in a lot of thought-provoking content, including a focus on retail, hotels and leisure, as well as commercial office space. Also on the agenda is a presentation and discussion around the role of fit-out as a brand marketing and communications tool.
